PsychoLab: The Lost Room – Traces of the Past
The door had spoken. The message was clear: "Three keys, three gates. The third awaits where it all begins." But what did this clue mean? The PsychoLab team knew that the shadows were drawing ever closer—and that each new discovery brought with it a new danger.
As Dr. Eva Stein and her team feverishly tried to decipher the origin of the whispers, an unexpected clue emerged. An old file, hidden deep in the city's archives, pointed to a forgotten room —a place sealed away decades ago, whose existence was mentioned only in a few remaining documents.
If the third key was there, it meant that the door didn't just exist in dreams—it was deeply interwoven with reality.
The abandoned institute
After intensive research, the trail led the PsychoLab team to an old research complex on the outskirts of the city. It was once part of a psychiatric institute that closed many years ago. But something about this place seemed strangely untouched—as if it had been waiting for their arrival.
Late in the evening of March 1, the team set out. They wore warm PsychoLab hoodies and beanies as a cold wind blew through the deserted streets. The buildings were shrouded in darkness, but as they approached, the devices began to vibrate. Weak electromagnetic pulses—the same ones emanating from the door.
Clara Winter was the first to touch the rusty lock on the main entrance door. A shiver ran down her spine. "Someone deliberately forgot about this place," she murmured. "And I don't think we're the first to try to enter."
The hidden room
The corridors of the old institute were dusty, but there were traces on the floor—as if someone had recently moved there. They followed the faint signals from their scanners until they reached a door that was different from the others. It was older, more solid—with engravings similar to those on the keys.
“That’s it,” said Dr. Stein quietly.
With cautious movements, Clara opened the door. Behind it lay a room that looked unlike the rest of the Institute. While the other rooms lay in disrepair, this one was intact, untouched by time . Faint symbols glowed on the walls, and in the center of the room stood a pedestal—upon it rested another artifact.
The third key.
But before Clara could touch him, the light flickered and the temperature dropped noticeably.
The shadows intervene
“They’re here…” whispered someone from the team.
Dark figures materialized at the edge of the room, moving silently toward the team. This time, they didn't wait. They seemed no longer content with just observing.
Dr. Stein knew they had to act quickly. "Clara, the key!"
With one last deep breath, Clara reached for the key—and at that moment, a dazzling flash of light shot through the room. The symbols on the walls lit up as if responding to the key. A deafening noise filled the air.
Then – absolute silence.
The shadows had disappeared. But the feeling of being watched remained.
The end of one chapter – and the beginning of a new one
With the third key in hand, the team faced a new truth: the door was only one piece of a much larger puzzle.
What lay beyond the three gates remained uncertain. But they now knew that they weren't just searching—they themselves had been found.
And they didn't have much time left.
Until the next revelation
The PsychoLab team stands on the threshold of truth. But with every key they find, the line between dream and reality becomes thinner. What secrets lie behind the three gates? And what does the sudden activity of the shadows mean?
Stay tuned – the story is far from over.
